As head trainer, Christine brings over 40 years of horse experience to Chicory Meadow Farm. For more than 20 years, she has enjoyed teaching both children and adult riders and has served as head coach of the CMF IEA riding team. Before purchasing Chicory Meadow Farm with her husband, Wayne in 2003, and transforming it into what it is today, Christine worked at a very exclusive high end barn in the Katonah/Bedford area taking care of and riding horses owned by some very well-known celebrities and she has strived to bring this same level of care to her own business. Christine’s love for horses began at an early age when she participated in 4H and later joined the United States Pony Club, giving her a well rounded foundation in dressage, x-country and stadium jumping. Her commitment to continuous learning is reflected in her training methods, which blend traditional techniques with modern insights, safety and the never ending pursuit of the perfection of the basics.
